Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs) Variants and Improvements
While standard GANs consist of a generator and discriminator, numerous variants have been developed to address specific limitations. Conditional GANs (cGANs) introduce additional information, such as class labels or text descriptions, to guide the generation process. Progressive Growing GANs (ProGANs) improve image resolution by gradually increasing the complexity of the generated images during training. StyleGAN, another popular variant, introduces style-based architecture, allowing for more control over the visual attributes of generated images. These advancements have significantly enhanced the quality and diversity of AI-generated art.
